The Mayor made an announcement on the recent death of John Motson.

To confer, in accordance with Section 249(5) of the Local Government Act 1972, the Freedom of the City of Milton Keynes on Leah Williamson,  who is a person of distinction, owing to her outstanding sporting achievements.

Note:  A resolution to confer Freedom of the City is required to be passed by not less than two-thirds of the Members voting thereon.

Pursuant to the powers conferred on the Council by Section 249(5) of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended by Section 29 of the Local Government, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009, the Mayor moved the following motion, which was seconded by Councillor Mahendran:
